I'm obviously obsessed with this beautiful central California coast. It's no wonder I never take a vacation...why would I travel to any other place when I live in the place where everybody else wants to vacation? In the depths of winter, instead of the ice and snow I grew up with, everything is the lush, green richness of the colors I've tried to capture here. In summer California earns its "golden state" nickname even though it really means everything is dry and dead. It is an optical illusion, but still beautiful.
