Driving south on Hwy 1 on a wet Wednesday morning. All that's missing is Jack K. driving while he crunches on an apple, and Cassidy. making up silly tunes from the back seat of a '57 Chevy Bel-Air....no, newer than that....David C. moaning meter-less poetry while humming near-Gregorian chants, as Jerry G. plucks rhythmless lead on a battered guitar....no, newer than that...cruising the coastal wineries from San Berdoo to Sonoma Beach (sonumabeech-en youse too) and pausing at that one perfect spot...you know the one...with the big, long bridge spanning the gap over the stream that pours from the mountains of Big Sur down to the meeting with the sea......no, newer yet,...go a little further south to rest at the hot sulfur springs at Esalen, or maybe off the road to the Buddhist monastery, eat some peyote buttons and howl naked into the woods....oh, no wait, that's older.....much, much older...
Or maybe just sit here and soak it all in from this rock.
What a gorgeous piece, Bill! I love the feeling of movement that you get from the smaller view as well as the visible work-marks on the full view that just bring the picture to life! Great work!

A great picture, I don't know who are the people you're talking about; the only think I know, I *see* is you love your *land*, your Country and, most of all, LIFE... ...which is a great thing...

One of my all time favorites for mellow laid back music. I always liked "Almost cut my hair" also, but "Traction in the Rain" is my favorite on the album.

You know, I don't think I've ever met anyone else with a taste in music that is so similar to my own, Phil. And as esoteric as my collection is, that really says a whole lot. Probably a lot of it because we are contemporaries from the midwest and both grew up with liberalized minds in repressive communities...or maybe we're just both terminally awesome!
I like the last part the best!! I noticed when I was able to peruse your music how much you had that I liked or had wanted to listen to. I have gotten several new cd's that I wanted to give you via FTP. Losing that ability was a bummer because nothing gives me more pleasure than giving you something new to listen to. I could put them on a flash drive and send them to you.
